IF it becomes mandated for all legacy struted Cessnas. Where is the risk management justification for that? As for insurance companies not covering non SIDS compliant aircraft, well maybe, they wont cover anything they don't have to, but in terms of aircraft falling out of the sky, they have much bigger risks than that to worry about.
