Great news is that they have started the recruitment in English-speaking country such as UK in December as valensi mentioned above. They have again opened the door for native English speakers.
I attended the AD in Tokyo in late September and got through the final interview but I have not heard anything from them yet! Just like some other people on hold in UK! A friend of mine also attended the AD in Tokyo on the same day as me but he already started the training on 1st of November.

キャビンアテンダント[客室乗務員]地上職 就職情報 /// Crew Net ≡), they are holding three training courses this month and most of the trainees are Japanese since they are starting the service to Nagoya and Tokyo in the first quaｒter of 2010.
Hopefully I get a phone call from them soon! Fingers crossed.
