Sorry in advance for a rant.........

I am not happy with Tesco.

On a recent shop, they presented me at the checkout with what looked like a bloody good coupon offer for my next trip - an 18 pack of Becks, Stella, or Strongbow for £5 pounds only.

So on my next trip, at the end of my shop, I went to pick up the beer. There were plenty of 10 packs. Plenty of 20 packs. But was there an 18 pack in sight? No. Not one.

Disappointed, I went to the checkout, and grumbled that there were no 18 packs left. "All sold out" said the cashier. Some more will be coming in a few days time. So I paid the bill.....and along with a 5p off a litre petrol voucher, the machine gave me yet another £5 pounds only beer coupon. But with a validity of only 2 days.

Not much use when there will be no more 18 packs for a few days ! And now I have thought about it....I reckon Tesco probably only had a few packs available anyway....so the whole offer was a con to get me into the shop.

I shall now be doing my shopping at Sainsbury's. So well done Tesco. Good marketing.
