What is the latest on hiring at Cathay? Word of mouth is they are only hiring through the cadet program, but the website shows they are additionally hiring first and second officers. Is this the most current information? What is competative to get hired as a first or second officer? Currently have over 6000 hours total time, approx 1670 as PIC in a Beech 1900, and 1000 SIC in a CRJ and 1000 SIC in A320. Lastly how long does it take to hear back after the initial application?
Spent some time in Hong Kong and loved it. Now that I am divorced it looks like a great time to give it a shot.
