There is nothing new in this. The S-92 cabin was previously built by Mitsubishi and has always therefore always been sourced internationally and shipped to the US. As the manufacture of S-92 cabins no longer fits Mitsubishi's business model, an alternative source had to be found.
Parts of the S-92 fuselage are already built in China and in Taiwan.
