Sounds quite similar to another story I have heard. This colleague of a friend recently found himself in similar situation of waking up in a bathtub filled with ice. But in his case, his heart was missing.
But I doubt it's true because for as long as I could remember, that my friend has always bitched about how heartless that colleague was.
