No disrespect but the LGW are on a higher hourly rate than you suggested, about £2.32 isn't it? And apparently it has already been stated that the new fleet will be a higher hourly rate, at least 10% above?
The figures you quoted sound very much like another major carrier out of LHR, but they come out with alot less than that!!! Yes, it is a huge drop in comparison to current T+C's, but a salary of £18000 at start off, could be a hell of alot worse!!! Im sure lots of people will still be crying out for a chance to get on that 'new fleet' it comes about!! Just take a look at another post on this forum.........people are on the dole taking home £65 a week, and with lots of qualifications and qualities to offer!
