I did unfortunately look on the internet ref the problem and boy was I shocked by reports ranging from strokes,brain tumours etc etc,
Yes, it can be a dangerous thing, the internet. It doesn't always do well to medicalise what could be regarded as normal.
From what you've reported so far, it sounds like there is not a lot to worry about.
I'd suggest talking through your concerns with your GP. A listen to your symptoms and an examination is likely to allay your concerns.
