I'm SLF, hope I can post here, but just wanted to mention I sat next to Kinky Friedman* on flight from LHR to IAH the other day (in economy). Seemed like the nicest guy, cracking jokes and signing autographs for anyone who asked. Interesting that he managed to hang on to the same unlit cigar for the entire 10 hr. flight.
*not many may know Kinky on these boards, but he is a famous country-western singer/songwriter/humorist and unsucessful Democratic candidate for Governor of Texas.
