It was exactly how you described it,
I would say about 160 or so people turned up for the Open Day..
Took a while to do the whole CV registration process, the video was really interesting as I have not seen that much on EK or Dubai. So i quite enjoyed it.. Afterwards some of the attendees asked some interesting questions
The two recruiters were easy to talk too, & both pleasant and very friendly...
I think there was 15 of us left in the end, not sure..
Definitely keep trying... Try and cut down your resume and remove unnecessary clutter. Focus on customer service focused roles you have had. Smile, look smart/professional and be confident.. Im sure you will be fine
My mate I went with is going again in December...
If I dont make it now i'll have to wait another year!!
