If you have it, and have used it at all, I would really recommend using Access, not excel for the data storage part of what you are doing.
I'm not sure how to do it with Excel (which is partly why I'm telling you to try with Access
) but it is fundamentally a spreadsheet, and data storage is more suited to databases.
