Well, my crystal ball could see the likes of Emirates buying Gatwick up and building a London super-hub for themselves.
I expect they can afford to outbid anyone else!
Perhaps, it could also afford to seriously upgrade the infrastructure, to attract some major carriers back to LGW from LHR and get some income from them!
