It's amusing to read some of the comments, and I'm talking about the ones from guys with clearly no C-130 experience. It's a wonderful aircraft, and it got me into and out of a whole lot of dark places in Africa.
Most fun is flying a B model with T56A-15 engines - and no externals. Good for a 300plus TAS cruise.
Definitely not a 250knot Cessna...
