| Cognac and the Atlantic coast would be my choices. La Rochelle, Ile de Re (got an interesting bridge to the island), some good places. Cognac, La R, IdR, easy 3 days spent just on those.
Charente Maritime is a nice departement to visit. Loire Valley Chateaux, do another time and fly direct to Tours in the first place. |
