I am not a lady pilot! My nav, on the other hand, was a lady (and still is, for that matter). I let her talk on the radio - we have to find something for navs to do now that the jet has GPS and LINS...
Anyway, it's always good to visit Shobdon having arranged it first!!! All I did was randomly fly around LFA 7 and 4 until I flew over an airfield.
But thanks for the compliment. Nobody was as surprised as I that we made it on time!
I felt sorry for the lone spotter sitting at the entrance to the Loop... in really nasty weather.
On another point, is the pink tree still pink? If so, does anyone know where it is (up around Hay somewhere). I haven't seen it since my days at Valley (when I certainly did not call Shobdon before I (my students) flew through!!!)
