As VEX has lost Sir Richard a tonne of money for years, he wont be that upset in closing up shop. He really has no option. VEX's bread and butter route, LHR is operated using SN slots.
The two main issues with SN II are that:
The flying public won't trust them, as we have seen from DAT loads of late.
The Unions won't allow flexible working practices.
