Diabetics passing through airport security question

Hi,
I am looking for anyone with experience of going through airport security, long haul flight, to a tropical destination, but also a type 1 (insulin dependant) diabetic. Does security give you a hard time over carrying insulin vials through security at say, Gatwick, or is it a common enough thing and not a problem?
They will be carried through in a cooled pouch but they are about 3ml in each one and about 4 of them. Also an emergency glucagon pen has to be carried.

Does anyone think this will cause a problem during screening?

Thanks.
