Hey all, thanks for all of your great advice in this thread. I have my stage 2 coming up this month, and although it states that a visit to a NATS establishment is not necessary, I am looking at getting some time in at non-NATS towers nearby. Does anyone know of any facilities in Wiltshire or near to Swindon where they may accept people in, either for work exp or for a look around?
The motivation stuff is brilliant, and I have now started reading CAP413 and MATS pt 1 as a bit of light bedtime stuff! You can't do enough prep I always feel... hence my wanting to go to a tower.
Also, if I do get through to stage 3, I will definately want to go to a NATS place, preferably Swanwick. Could someone please advise how this works, as I can imagine they can't have all and sundry wandering around 24/7, so how do they operate? There is also Bristol Lulsgate which I could visit.
I realise this is a random ranting post, but have spent the last hour trying to learn callsigns and designators, so am a little wired!
