You don't say what sort of camping - trailer, frame, or caravan.
Anyway, with 2 yr old you would perhaps be better aiming for a 5 pm stop with a kiddies pool and a sand pit. With a 10 am start, and hour for lunch, that gives you 6 hours on the road, say 300 miles. A bit less if you need to stop to shop.
