Just one question, did you ask the DGAC before taking the exam that you were planning to have a level 6? If you didn't, perhaps your examiner was only level 5 and in that case, he was not authorized to give level 6. Few of them are level 6 and if you want such a level, you have to ask when you apply for it to take a level 6 exam.
The DGAC will find a level6 examiner who will give you your deserved level.
That's true they also have problems to find proficient examiner but the exam has been implemented quite recently...
