Just had a vintage KX170B replaced by a KX155A with a fine new OBS display. The new one is VERY NICE. For £5k installed, I suppose it should be. 28 volt, but no problems for all that.
But what a screwup that thousands of aircraft have to spend thousands of quid on new radios, because some bureaucrat was asleep on the job!
