Proper camouflage for the introduction of the Spit 1 on 19 was Silver Dope undersides. The White/Duck Egg split with black undersides was later on.
I thought it was silver dope under right wing with black under left, and then in 1939 the silver underwing was overpainted white, with the all sky undersides not appearing until 1940.....?
