| i would recommend the shangri-la (2min walk to KLCC) if you want to be close to shopping/clubbing but if you don't mind staying 15mins out of the city centre then the KL hilton would be the best hotel around.
to check out the night scene, head out to Zouk or the Heritage row.
i tried these 3 joints the last time i was there and the food was amazing:
1. bbq pork rice (at tengkat tong shin)
2. fried hokkien noodles (there are too many good stalls to recommend but perhaps you can try the stall at the corner of Jalan Imbi opposite the Honda showroom)
3. 'bak kut teh' (pork in soup) served with rice also around the Jln Imbi area
touristy things to do - snap pictures of the twin towers, go up the sky bridge at klcc, visit kl tower, and shopping!! nothing much to do really.. |
