Call me a dull, superfluous, over-established and expensive bluntie, but I was told that the RAF was about projection of Air Power. We all have a role to play, whether its cooking the breakfasts, counting the blankets, issuing the imprests or pressing the "Hose in/Hose out" button. Having had the honour of working in the SH world for a few years, I can at least take solace from the fact that there are elements of the RAF aircrew fraternity that truly value 'bluntie' support in the projection of Air Power. Anyone who bangs on about the 'pecking order' or 'food chain', in my opinion, has lowered himself to the level of those he is slagging-off.. .. .PS. Don't see many aircrew hanging around on the ground in Kabul. Allegedly.. . . . [ 29 March 2002, 17:31: Message edited by: Whipping Boy's SATCO ]
