From my perspective this thread has made very interesting reading. I'm a wanabee and now after graduating from uni, and getting my PPL i am in a position where i can start hour building /atpl theoretical exams. I thought long and hard about which is the best route for me, and after a lot of research I decided modular was best. I work part time and have structured it so I only work a couple of evenings a week plus weekends so will be able to devote a relatively large amount of time per week to hour building/ studying. Whilst the huge financial investment required is frightening, I have seen too many of my friends that have graduated go into jobs that they dont want, and I'm determined not to do that-even if it means being in the red for a long time! Not yet decided where to do my flight training after hour building/ exams so any advice/comments would be appreciated.
