From what I understand its a great airplane for short fields, with great payload.
I once saw from above (live) how one of those, while landing on a narrow road, hit a small (but tall) dirt mound with the wing tip, it cart wheeled to a stop with 14 people on board, we landed inmediately to help out, and that little egg shaped fuselage kept everyone on board alive, its a tough airplane. This happened in Honduras.
