IHL the info for the airplane is the following:

Designation: IAI 201 Arava
Manufacturer: Israeli Acft. Ind., Israel
Crew: 2
Seats: 25 troops
Engine: 2 x Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A34
Engine Type: Turboprop
Engine Thrust: 560 kW (750 shp)
Propeller: 2 x 3 bladed constant speed Hartzell propellers

From what I understand its a great airplane for short fields, with great payload.

I once saw from above (live) how one of those, while landing on a narrow road, hit a small (but tall) dirt mound with the wing tip, it cart wheeled to a stop with 14 people on board, we landed inmediately to help out, and that little egg shaped fuselage kept everyone on board alive, its a tough airplane. This happened in Honduras.
