The fact that the average club aircraft looks like it has seen better days doesnt help - soggy carpets, worn out seats, bits of trim missing etc.
The trouble is most of the sort of people who learn to fly are also use to cars that dont leak and havent started to fall to bits yet .. .. ..
Inspires cofindence in your trusty stead - I think not, but if the maintenance is good, they should be OK.
