Penauille Servisair announces the transfer of its staff at Blackpool (BLK), UK, to Blackpool International Airport (BIA), UK, in accordance with TUPE Regulations.
Penauille Servisair staff based at BLK will transfer to BIA in accordance with the TUPE Regulations. The target date for transfer has been set for 22nd March 2007.
At the end of last year, and as part of their expansion plan, BIA has decided to bring the Ground Handling Function in house and develop its own ground-handling department. The department will include Passenger Services, Dispatch and Airport Agencies functions, currently provided by Penauille Servisair at BLK, together with Ramp operations already supplied by BIA. This is a strategic decision made by BIA whereby the 24 Penauille Servisair staff, who have an excellent track record in providing customer service, will be transferring most of their existing terms and conditions of employment.
Penauille Servisair will be working closely with BIA to ensure a smooth transition for Customers and employees and has offered its full support by providing consulting and training advice.
