I now see where your reading it,it's when you click on the banner it then says what i am on about.I have emailed the airport twice and rang them twice about the web page in the past few months of summer,they dont even now when it's going to be up and running.

I did,did my aprenticeship with BIA in the seventys so i have an interest in Blackpool airport.
I know that it is now run by cityhopper airports based at wolverhampton.
For your information back then in the late seventys BIA wanted to extend the hangar to accommodate our Bac1-11's also pushed for the airport to install ILS,both of these were rejected by the council,this decision ended the careers of a lot of my colleagues.The company uprouted and went to Norwich within two years as Air uk.
So i am a bit niffed and who knows what the place would be like now if the council (motto-''PROGRESS'') had the gumption to do it.
