It looks to me as though they've moved the existing Cork-Angers and Manchester-Angers services to Nantes. Not so much a new route.
It would probably pick up more traffic from the French side as Nantes is a much larger city. Angers is a very pleasant place, so it's a pity it's going to be less accessible.
