JAYROW AS350 Crash 4th Jan 06
Jayrow Helicopters AS350 Super D VH KVN had a hydraulic incident which resulted in a crash landing with minor injuries to passengers and crew on 4th January, somewhere near Port Hedland I believe.
Haven't seen anything on Pprune about it but maybe I missed it at the time.
Some similarities with the Maitland 350 thread although VH KVN was not ex military.
As part of the Maitland discussion, the 350 FLM does say NOT to carry out low speed or hover flight manouvres because of the intensity of feeback forces may result in excessive pilot workload leading to poor aircraft control or possible loss of control.
