Some examples? Well, I personally don't know anyone who has made it after failing the 2nd round. However, a few of my friends DO know this guy who failed in the 2nd round, but subsequently made it thru. So while it's pretty rare for it to happen, it's apparently true. This is 2nd hand news at the most, so i think it should be pretty accurate. This guy was reconsidered because he took a degree after failing the first time and reapplied again. So it seems that they want to see you better yourself in the time between your applications. I'll ask around to see if I can get this guy's contact for you, but don't hold your breath.
