I always thought the 757 was a better performer than the 735 out of CVT? With about 6000ft of TORA I reckon a 757 may even make the Canaries from CVT. Ground handling is a different matter, the lack of parallel tway and single 757 stand makes things a little awkward but nothing that cannot be addressed by the new owners.

www.warwickdc.gov.uk you can see the plans for the new terminal (Currently in the public enquiry due to non-determination) include a larger standing area.
I did read somewhere that the airport had notified WDC that they were going to be building taxiways (Using their permitted development rights.)
