The change is all to do with new NERC procedures. Presently all the `Alkin` arrivals (London City, Biggin Hill, Southend, Rochester) route via LYD VOR. With NERC, there is a need to keep the traffic wholly within Sector 15 (Dover Low) rather than Sector 17 (Lyd). To do this, the traffic has to re-route via the new point ROKOS and then to SANDY.
....is correct? I plan to include a paragraph of explanation on my site, so some thoughts on this would be welcome.
