Was diagnosed with a blood clot in my right leg a couple of days ago. Am on blood thinning injections and will probably end up on warfarin. If all ends up ok, the big question is how long will it be before I can fly (1) shorthaul, less than two hours (2) longhaul.
Timing couldn't be worse as I am meant to be flying (shorthaul) for Christmas and then off to the Far East early next year. It is a b****r. I am also meant to be going in for surgery next week as well. It never rains but ......
