Most mice will work with the Microsoft Drivers. (It is the WinXP default.) I know we can get better Drivers for your mouse. Turn the mouse upside down. See if you can tell if it is a Logitech or Microsoft Mouse or maybe some other brand.
It would help knowing the actual brand in order to find the best drivers for you. (Many companies put their name on Logitech mice, so there is a possibility that your mouse is just co-branded by Evesham.)
