Ok, I'll try to change the thread so it's a little less pointless.
Let's hear about the experiences in the various schools, and try to rank them afterwards by seeing which ones seem to be getting the most compliments and which ones are disliked.
Also, have any of you tried to get FAA licences, then build hours and convert to JAA? Would it be too costly to convert them or would it be easy?
Cause there are some FAA programs such as at Ari-Ben Aviator, Inc nad All ATPs that offer very cheap and good multi training and time bulding.
Ari-Ben advertieses 100 hours in a Duchess for 6 grand! Which I find quite impossible to be true...probably half of it is done as a safety pilot.
But nonetheless..seems pretty cheap if it were 12 grand too.
all ATPs offeres 140 hours multi, 50 hours FTD multi, 10 single engine...and all ratings for 34 grand.
So one of the things I'm looking at is the price of multi-time...as I plan on doing most of my training in a multi...
